I figured I would have several backtalk in this post and was exactly what happened. Well, half the world hates Mikono, and of course all are crazy fans of Zessica.

First they are all outraged at Amata, because the guy does not love Zessica… Seriously, I wonder how are the real life of these…

actually, now that I have noticed that Sousei and Evol have a similar story outline (if that makes any sense). They are both building up to things in a very similar fashion. However, I think Sousei executed itself a bit better in terms of the second half of its story. In terms of the first half, Evol did a much better job (Jin is my favorite male and he was killed off. It wasn’t in a practical way mind you, but it still effectively drove the plot forward) 

I really don’t look at things from a shipping perspective. For me, its the way the story is told, the plot execution and the character development that matters most. So thats why for me, the main triangle AmataxMikonoxKagura is very weak. It wasn’t developed enough. I love both girls (Mikono and Zessica) but I am not a big fan of Amata as a character. It depends on the person naturally, but I think shipping plays too much a part in what influences someone’s decisions about a show.

HOWEVER I also think its unfair to point fingers at them as well. That is how they enjoy the show. You should continue to talk about Evol. You have your own way of enjoying the show. Don’t let others spoil that.

Not really. There are other reasons why people would dislike a character. I think its a little unfair to say its only because of shipping. For example, I know one of the reasons I am not really liking Amata is because he isn’t well developed as a character. Why does he love Mikono? who is he? what does he want to be? why should we support his motivations as a character? we never really got a chance to look into that. I do like Mikono and Kagura, but even Kagura barely got the development he needed. I constantly ask these questions when I don’t support a character. I also can’t really get behind his reasoning (Kagura has pretty flimsy reasoning too, but he is the side of “Amata” that is focused on what happened in Sousei)

Mari Okada (yes, I am pointing her out specifically because she does have tendencies to “be bored” with the material she works on) picks certain elements to develop and leave others behind because of her “preferences”. Its really isn’t fair, but a lot of people look past it because she does drama very well (Which she does, but she has A LOT of faults in her writing). The AmataxMikonoxKagura triangle is a big example of her not developing a certain point enough. 

I don’t really get the Mikono hate either, because she honestly has been VERY proactive. She can stand alone as a character. Amata? not so much.

psh nah clearly the only flirting was between Chieri and Nagisa. They are the canon otp5eva of this show 

nahhh I kid. I am not really sure what the episode was for, but it was nice seeing all of the girls interact with one another. I was worried they were only going to focus on Chieri and Nagisa (since that is what these kinds of shows tend to do), but I was pleasantly surprised. This is how idol team built up should be done.

About… Haters Gonna Hate

Zessica fans will cry and hate the world after this episode.


Amata will be hated because he never loved Zessica since the beginning.
Mikono will be hated because Amata loves her.
Kagura will be hated because he is the only one that makes the rivalry with Amata regarding Mikono and not in relation to Zessica, in other words, the true triangle is Amata x Mikono x Kagura.

I figured she was just having a hard time because she was put on the spot, and she knew she’d be trapped if she got it wrong, so she was anxious. it’s not very easy to think when you’re put in a stressful situation.

I thought that they were using overly simple problems because the show is mainly for a pretty young audience - younger kids will be able to recognise and empathise with Peace if they show a basic math problem, more than if they showed some sort of higher math problem.

Plus she’s generally a flustered sort of person. She’s a self-admitted “crybaby”, she’s on the spot, all of her friends are depending on her…. She’s under a lot of pressure, and one of her best friends is undergoing an identity crisis.

And what lemedy said.

Honestly…I totally relate to Peace in this situation. Like Peace, I struggled with math once I hit jr. high school (yeah I didn’t have a middle school XD). Even the most simple of problems would get jumbled up in my head sometimes because the harder stuff that we had to solve would just overload my brain. So there were times were I was just like “1+3+5+sths;HTrs;zkhtzsr;htzsr;”. This is a very relatable situation. I mean…the episode itself I kind of question? (maybe because I am not a Reika fan) and it felt a little out of place, but the struggles any of these characters has with their education is something that little kids and adults can put into their shoes. We learn the simple stuff, but once we apply it to harder and more complicated things (like solving x, y, z and whatever letter the stupid problem requires us to solve), the simple stuff seems so foreign.
